Bob Clark  was born and raised in Memphis, TN (with brief stops in Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA) where he graduated from Harding Academy. He received degrees from Freed-Hardeman College and Harding University Graduate School of Religion. For 15 years Bob preached for a highly mobile, blue collar, ethnically diverse congregation in a large city on the East Coast. From July of 1997 until January 2010 Bob served as preaching minister for a multi-generational, white collar congregation in a small city in West Tennessee.

Bob wore lots of hats while being the only minister on staff at a congregation of several hundred. He wore a different hat while leading a staff of several ministers. In both congregations Bob was blessed by being able to work alongside his wife, Lourene.

In the fall of 2009 Bob and Lourene spent time in prayer seeking God’s direction for their future ministry. As a result of God’s answers to that prayer, they were led to seek a new ministry opportunity.  After telling the Skyline church of  that decision and asking for their prayers, Bob and Lourene began seeking a new ministry opportunity. God blessed them with a wonderful new church family at the Lafayette Church of Christ in Ballwin, MO (West St. Louis County) where Bob serves as the preaching minister.
