“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.”
“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the sheep under his care.”
“So come, let us worship: bow before him, on your knees before GOD, who made us! Oh yes, he’s our God, we are the people he pastures, the flock he leads.”
I am tempted to bow before many gods, but there is one GOD who is worthy. And when I worship God with my church family, kneeling before Him in honor and praise, it prepares me to worship only Him the rest of the week.
It’s only Tuesday, but already I am ready to assemble with my brothers and sisters and join hearts in worship! Nothing gives me perspective on what’s real in life than time spent in corporate worship.
Until then, I will seek God right here, right now — wherever and whenever that might be. And when Sunday comes, I will be ready to approach God with a heart overflowing with praise.
You are the maker of heaven and earth.
You are my maker.
You pasture me.
You guide and protect me.
Right here, right now, I worship You.
In Jesus’ name,
